For us to accomplish our mission and create an easy stress-free storage experience for all our current and future tenants, we will be making several updates. These updates will include improvements to the physical property, implementation of new technologies, and updating current polices. We constantly strive to improve the storage property as well as assist you in a more effective way. Additionally, we are excited to announce a new management team that is dedicated to enhancing your storage experience and providing excellent customer service.

Name Change
The property name and signs will be upgraded to Easy Stope Storage. Please address all further correspondence and payments to Easy Stop Storage.

Easy Stop Storage is an environmentally friendly company and will be sending invoices via email. Please, provide us with your current email address if it is not already on your account profile.

Updated Self-Service Storage Rental Agreement
In the following weeks all tenants will be contacted by the property manager to complete and update their lease agreement to the new Texas Self Storage Association Rental Agreement. This lease can be signed electronically via text message or email. An updated lease must be received by July 1, 2026.
New Late fee Structure
Please note that the changes in the past due structure only affect tenants who pay AFTER the due date.
• 2 Days Late: Gate access is restricted. (If applicable)
• 6 Days Late: The unit is over-locked and a late fee of $20 or 20% (whichever is greater) is applied.
• 15 Days Late: The unit is placed in lien status and a $15 fee is applied.
• 23 Days Late: The tenants lock is cut, the unit is inventoried for auction, and $50 fee is applied.
• 30 Days Late: The unit is scheduled for auction, public notice is posted, and $110 fee is applied.
• Auction/ Public Sale: The unit will be sold at auction and a $150 auction fee is applied.
Tenant Protection Plans (Coming Soon)
Our facility takes many precautions to provide tenants with a safe and secure storage environment, but unforeseen and unexpected losses can happen because of natural disasters, weather, and other events beyond anyone’s control. Although stored property insurance is not required by state law, coverage for stored contents is required under paragraph 20 of your current and new rental agreements. Per the rental agreement all tenants shall be responsible for maintaining some form of insurance or coverage for their units’ contents for the duration of their lease.
We are pleased to announce that our facility will soon offer an affordable stored property protection plan for tenants who do not already hold a current homeowner, renters, or commercial insurance policy in place with coverage for the items located at the storage facility. Our protection plan offers $2,000 of coverage for $13.00/month, $4,000 of coverage for $16.00/month, and $5,000 of coverage for $21.00 per month.
Tenants who already have a 3rd party policy in place may want to compare the cost, coverages, and deductible of their current policy to that which is offered through the facility. Many alternative insurance policies do not cover losses of your belongings when they are stored at a self-storage facility and the deductible may often be higher than the value of your stored belongings. With coverage through our Protection plan, there is no deductible.
To take advantage and enroll, NO FURTHER ACTION IS NECESSARY. Beginning July 1, 2026 you will be automatically enrolled in $2,000 of loss or damage coverage, and a $13.00 charge will be added to your monthly billing.
If you already have insurance in place that covers your belongings when they are stored at a self-storage facility and do not wish to enroll in the Protection Plan, email your current and valid declaration page from your policy to the above address before June 30, 2026. If you don’t provide proof of 3rd party coverage within 30 days, then we will assume you accept coverage and you will be auto-enrolled into the protection plan. However, we will gladly cancel this coverage at any time in the future when proof of private insurance coverage is provided.
Disk Lock Policy
To enhance the security for your property, we are requiring all tenants to upgrade their locks to a round disk lock. This policy will take effect on July 1, 2026. To help current tenants upgrade their lock, we will be offering 50% off disk locks though the month of June (limited 2 per tenant). You will also notice a security sticker has been added to your lock.
